Which cancers are related to the microbiome?

In contrast, short-term survivors have tumours colonised by the classes Clostridia and Bacteroidea.

The dominance of the Proteobacteria phylum, together with the prevalence of F. nucleatum, has been observed in pancreatic cancer samples. Studies suggest that F. nucleatum promotes tumour progression in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and affects the migration of human cell lines. Liver and Gallbladder Cancers
